Cant get through to Ebay!

My buyer says she was`scammed` by Paypal and is paying by her bank. Unfortunately there is no confirmation that this is being processed and so I opened a case. She sent me a stroppy email saying she has spoken to her bank and it should be through in 2-3 days.


I don't know how she got through Paypal and also am worried she will just give me bad feedback out of spite.


Tried to ring Ebay and got through to someone who sounded as tho she was reading from autopilot. Totally unhelpful and couldn't put me through to a supervisor. I noticed that the option` account safety` has gone on the Customer Services page. Have been waiting on the phone for ages and cant get though

Can you be clearer please. Paying by her bank? Do you mean sending funds straight to your bank account, or what?
PayPal have not scammed the buyer, they are obviously confused.

I am confused as well.

Forget what buyers says, what do *you* see. If payment hasn't been received then close the NPB on day 4 and at that point the buyer cannot leave you feedback.

Don't bother doing Anything else except of course to ensure buyer is on your blocked buyer lists.

Thank you. I was confused because she said she had contacted her bank to arrange payment because she had been scammed but I have Paypal only and she didn't say she had arranged an E cheque. I have now got through to Ebay and they have said to close the case on 6th October.. I was also worried because of the tone of her emails that she would pay and then find faulty with the item and ruin my DSR.

Hi janb - sorry can't help with your base problem, but if you check on the eBay Forums, sellers are reporting over an hour waiting time for CS. Another crisis of their own doing with a lot of very distraught people trying to sort out Defects et al - all part and parcel of the new improved buyer experience according to eBay. Hope you get sorted on here, but if not pop over there.
