Microsoft Money 2001 question

Wonder if anyone using the earlier versions of Money can answer my question. It is a very trivial point, but there may be a way round it.
Is it possible to have 2 separate Portfolios in the Investing section? I hold shares/investment trusts in my own name and in designated accounts for my grandson. I've looked at all the grouping options, but nothing relevant.
It's easy enough to total the two separately, but wondered if there is any way of doing it in Money.

Set them up as separate Ivestment Accounts named appropriately and enter the various individual holdings in each as necessary. Your Accounts Section will then show totals for each account and a total for both. I use 3: one for an ex-PEP S&S ISA; one for an S&S ISA and one for individual shareholdings. Works perfectly and prices can be manually entered as often as you like. Reports can give a lot of information as to performance, gains, losses etc.0

I hope above post solves your problem.
FYI you can upgrade to version 2005 for free, go to http://blog.garethjmsaunders.co.uk/archives/2011/11/27/download-microsoft-money-2005-for-free/ - scroll down to Conclusion and download 'Microsoft Money 2005 UK – QFE2'0 -
Thanks datostar. I'll give this a try.
I'll look into upgrading. Thanks alanclarke.0 -
Money 2005 doesnt support multiple portfolios, just multiple accounts in a single portfolio.
The way I handle multiple portfolios is to set up separate reports to display data on the sets of accounts associated with each portfolio. Then for more complex analysis, say comparing one portfolio with another, extract the report data into Excel spreadsheets.0 -
Thanks Linton. I already extract some other info from Money onto Excel spreadsheets, so this would an option.0
