Question re Parking Charge Notice

Hi all
Please forgive me if the answer to this is posted somewhere - I just can't find anything.
I'm from Northern Ireland and was leaving my daughter to uni last week in NW England. I received a PCN in post this morning for £100.
I've been following the advice threads on this but in my case only one of the criteria applies ie the 'offence' occurred in England or Wales. My car however is not registered in England/Wales but in Northern Ireland so I'm wondering if I ignore or appeal?
Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

Ignore. You may then get a series of threatograms, which you ALSO still ignore.
If for some strange reason they try to issue court papers, you DON'T ignore these. You DO however respond to the court to say that the claimant is trying to serve a standard claim to an "out of jurisdiction" address. (The chances of them actually issuing correct "out of jurisdiction" papers are so close to zero that we can say they WON'T do this).0 -
Thanks bod. Was just concerned as the recent advice had changed to 'Do Not Ignore' any more but I wasn't sure if that would also refer to someone not from Eng/Wales.
Thank you again

If you wish, you could appeal to the NtK using the standard appeal and add an extra point ...
x) The registered keeper resides in Northern Ireland, a fact of which you are aware as you have sent the Notice to Keeper to a Northern Irish address. You will also be aware that the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 does not apply to Northern Ireland, therefore there is no registered keeper liability and also no requirement to name the driver to obviate any such liability. As such your request for payment is denied - any further requests from yourself or any debt collector will be ignored.0
