Saw this when logging into Money Dashboard yesterday:

https://allofustogether.ichoosr.com/product/index.rails?actionId=369

The idea seems to be that users sign up as interested in switching energy supplier and suppliers bid in an auction for the right to supply the collective users. Doesn't appear to be limited only to Money Dashboard users.

Seems like an interesting idea. Anyone had experience of similar collective switching schemes? Searching on here, previous schemes seem to have been limited to specific council areas (this one is nationwide) and the resulting offers were not competitive.

Seems risk-free to sign up, but I'm not overly keen on giving away all my personal details and energy usage unless I'm going to get something worthwhile in return...

People reading the above post, should not under any circumstances give personal details to anyone, particularly your internet banking credentials.

Web site registered in Netherlands too

    http://whois.domaintools.com/ichoosr.com

    http://ichoosr.com/en/

Claim to do switching for other countries

iChoosr is the driving force behind collective switching schemes in The Netherlands and Belgium and now also in the UK.

Thanks for that, I can not believe people still fall for it, and other nice people [#1] sign-post the URL for the less able and vulnerable to fall into :

To add bank account and credit card details

When you first sign up for Money Dashboard you will be presented with an Add Account wizard which will guide you through the process. The process is relatively straightforward: choose your account provider, supply your credentials and click Link Account.

petrolprices.com are doing a scheme at the moment using ichooser.

I have used these schemes twice in the past for decent savings over and above what the switching sites were offering and have not suffered from any spam.

There is no need for banking details when using these schemes until you accept an offer , avoid any that ask for it or put in false details.

There are savings to be made just be careful !
