IMAP client for Chromebook

Hello, I'm thinking of getting a Chromebook for my mum.

Problem is she uses both gmail and gmx for email.

Is there a simple to use app/extension that will run on a Chromebook that will allow her to manage both accounts together?

As far as I'm aware there isn't an extension for Chrome that does this yet.

I played about with a Chromebook some time ago and this was a show stopper, having to use each mail servers web interface rather than a single mail client.

A quick fix, though not ideal, would be to set up mail forwarding on GMX to forward all emails to Gmail.

Thanks Mr_Toad, I thought that might be the case.

Maybe if Google allows more Android apps to run on the Chromebook things might change.
