DLA renewal

Hi all,new to posting so please be gentle,sent renewal forms for dla back received a letter saying they have received a letter saying they are looking into this ,says they may con tact gp for more information or some one from social services may contact me ,this is my third renewal first for one year then for two years ,get hrm and lrc my question is never been involved with social services before .condition is getting worse but what has social services got to do with it ,can anyone help .

Hi

I received the same letter when reapplying for my daughter, the first time, I got a phone call from social services asking if I needed any other help (things they could provide I suppose) I said no and that was that.
Second renewal I had the same letter and never heard form social services.

This is most likely a standard letter. Contacting your GP is standard.
