Advice Needed - CCJ

Hi all,
First post so apologies if posted in wrong place!!
Right, here is the issue! A couple of years ago my wifes best friend of 25 years asked her to be a guarantor on an Amigo loan (yes I know what you are thinking, hindsight and all that!!). Everything was fine for 6 months or so then she started to miss payments and Amigo came to my wife for the money. This happened on 2 occasions and my wifes friend was very apologetic and promised to pay the money back. Needless to say th emissed payments got worse and Amigo defaulted the loan. In the midst of this my wife fell out with her over the issue and tried to get her family to step in and take over to no avail. Last month we then found out that a CCJ had been issued to both my wife and her friend with no warnings being received by us (we had moved house so probably went to old address, yes we should have updated them!!). My wifes friend has arranged to pay off the loan/CCJ at £100 per month (Loan is outstanding for £2200) and has been paying regularly since the CCJ and keeping Amigo updated. The problem is thta Amigo are also hounding my wife constantly to pay them money and threatening to issue bailiffs/attachment to earnings etc. Surely if the monies are being paid on a regular basis they should not be hassling my wife??? I fully understand that the CCJ is for both parties but they are getting the money??? Any advice gratefully received

Are the repayments the ex friend is making amounts that have been agreed/ordered by the court? or an informal agreement with the creditor after the judgement was granted?A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

Hi Tixy,
I believe the repayments have been arranged with the creditor by my wifes' "friend".0
