Aaahhh Sea but our Tescos is 24 hrs so I may be knackered :)

So is ours, ba, but all the fresh counters - bakery, cafe, fish and meat all close at around 9pm and tobacco kiosk closes at 11pm - so late night shopping is usually only any good for packed and frozen goods.

And, of course, Harry Potter. :D

Well I'm still at home...... found a discount voucher for Tesco for £15 off when you spend over £50 but for the life of me I can't get it to work online:confused:

I have shopped at Aldis etc but if I get the value stuff and shop sensibly I am finding I can normally do my week shop at Tescos for £50 so I am very pleased :D I have compared a lot of the prices and it depends on the choices - and I am choosing value

Ok back to tackle the codes or off to tescos in person it is

Didn't know about counters shutting early - will bear that in mind

Happy shopping - could you pick me up some milk while you're there - will save me having to pop out in the morning!

  • Ok I'm back again..... have been distracted with shopping since about 6pm    I have now discovered the discount vouchers, got £15 off my shop with the luxury that I do not have to leave home. It is all ordered online, being delivered tomorrow lunchtime (conveniently I am out so DH has task of unpacking it given that I have spent 5 hours thinking about it :rotfl: ) and for the grand total of £67 after discounts etc :j :j

So, my nights work has been worth it (and I felt I deserved to order two bottles of wine as my thanks :)) and it is a lot better than £91 :j Also think the added benefit is I cannot accidentally put chocolate, cakes, biscuits, in my trolley as I walk around.

So now I'm off to bed as me and friend are running to Asda in the morning to get Harry Potter book for £5 and running back - its 10 miles    I think I may have lost the plot and I blame this site, prior to LBM I would not have spent an entire Friday night shopping :rotfl:

Has anyone used mysupermarket.com? I haven't had chance to have a proper play with it yet, but it seems like a good way of making sure you are going to the cheapest supermarket in your area and getting the best bargains. It seems really user-friendly too.

Now you pipe up after 5 hours of me faffing around. I'm never going to get to bed at this rate :rotfl:

Am looking at it now, thinking I like it :D
