British Gas Business Direct Debit

Is anybody else having problems with British Gas & their direct debits on their BUSINESS GAS account ???
I am caught in a loop with British Gas & Santander Business Bank.
British Gas are saying Santander Bank are refusing to pay the direct debit request & Santander Bank say British Gas are not requesting it !!!
The direct debit is there on the account set up & waiting, & I might add, has been there for years.
British Gas direct debit department just cannot seen to sort it.
Driving me nuts they are !!
