We received a parking ticket from Parking eye last month, hubby looked it up online and it said to ignore the letters,
1, the car is not ours in the picture, it's not even the same make
2, neither of us have been to London and certainly not the hospital this car is pictured at.
3, could the camera have got a letter wrong on the number plate? And that would explain us getting it.
Do we ignore or do we have to get in touch?
I'm getting worried now as we have received another letter today.

that is 2 years old out of date advice, for england and wales anyway
the person who received the NTK should appeal it asap using the details from the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of this forum, see post #1 to start with, then if they dont cancel see post #3 for popla
only a fool would ignore PE as they take thousands of people to court every year for this0 -
Thank you Red, so frustrating as the car really is not ours.0

ownership is not necessarily the issue here, the RK gets the letter in the post and is responsible unless they dob in the driver , so its either name the driver and walk away, or as RK deal with the issue as the RK could be held liable and could easily get taken to court, many do, so dont be one of them if you can avoid it
the onus is on the person who received this NTK to prove its nothing to do with them at all, in court if necessary , because PE have sent you this invoice alleging you owe this debt , which you need to challenge asap0 -
If it is not your car, then you need to take some action.
First of all, who is the Parking company?
Who is now corresponding with you?
Do you still have your car and it's registration document?
What make and colour is the car in the picture and what make and colour is yours?
The chances are they have either made a mistake or your number plate has been cloned. So this can easily be sorted out, if you are genuinely correct.0 -
Complain to the ATA (either the BPA or the IPC) about their member sending this to the wrong party and write to the PPC telling them you have reported them to their Trade Body - and explaining why they must cancel it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
