Parking on zig zag yellow lines, keep clear ,no road signs with limitations where do i stand.the zig zags are outside my house which leads to the police station next door otherwise the road is a cul de sac

Where do you stand? Wherever you like - it's where you park your car that is the problem.

Is this a public road? What does the highway code say? But suggest you ask on pepipoo if it is a public road as they are the experts on public roads.

Where there is no upright sign, the lines apply 24/7.

I'm curious why there are Zig zags in a cul-de-sac. Are not yelllow ones reserved for schools and are usually timed?
Just checked and they are used to stop people parking at police station entrances as well.
