Yellow zig zags outside house

Parking on zig zag yellow lines, keep clear ,no road signs with limitations where do i stand.the zig zags are outside my house which leads to the police station next door otherwise the road is a cul de sac

    Where do you stand? Wherever you like - it's where you park your car that is the problem. :o

    Is this a public road? What does the highway code say? But suggest you ask on pepipoo if it is a public road as they are the experts on public roads.

    I'm curious why there are Zig zags in a cul-de-sac. Are not yelllow ones reserved for schools and are usually timed?
    Just checked and they are used to stop people parking at police station entrances as well.
    I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
