i have in the last week when i am online first time i was not using my computer but in the room then came a blast of music a couple of times and i am sure the volume was down it was about 3 seconds but it happened a couple of times. In the last half hour i have had it online for a while but i was busy i just sat down when i got what sounded like a vicious dog growling.
I have never experienced anything like this its a bit spooky but at the same time i am worried whats going on if anything what could be causing this?

Don't really understand your problem but are you saying you think your computer is making noises when you are not doing anything? The only thing I can think of is some ad's on web pages make sounds when you move over them, or even just if they are on the page you are viewing, (the buzzing fly springs to mind) and they certainly can make me jump when it happens! Not sure what it could be if the speakers are turned down though!!!0

My PC's speakers sometimes picks up radio from passing police cars and taxis. Maybe it's something like that?
