Fresh pineapple is very cheap I bought one for 59p in Lidl this week but usually Morrisons and Aldi have them at around that price.
Pears are lovely just now and the small citrus fruits such as clementines and tangerines are usually good value. Kiwi, melon and plums are a staple in our house.
I avoid buying strawberries and rasperries in fact any berries after the end of September as they are ususally tasteless and expensive.1 Sealed Pot Challenge # 1480
