I am currently a self employed single parent claiming WTC - I've recently been very ill with a cancer diagnosis and been given an immediate 3 month sick note while I start a care/action plan - I know I can claim ESA but clueless about how it effects other benefits - can I claim HB and can I still keep my WTC ? ...very worried about how I'm going to manage finacially - any advice?

MacMillan have a central tel no for benefits advice and they have face to face benefit advisers in some parts of the country. Have a look at their website for more info.0
