Hi JulietteCarter - not sure if you've wrote on the right thread or not but i am happy if i've inspired you to save more
Daily diary update!
Just got to £15.20 on One Poll.
OH used my Morrison's card when he got petrol yesterday so i now have 1820 points on there (points go towards a voucher)
Both of us have been using the Shopitize phone app, i'm now at £3.75 on mine but will be doing some shopping with my mum later on. (need £5 to cash out but think i'll save mine up for a little bit)
Transferred my 52 week challenge money over to the savings so that was £6.00 so the savings now stand at £3425.18.
Also managed to pick up my Grandad's Christmas present budgeted for £20 but overspent on his birthday present by £1 so that left with £19 - went to Asda (George) and picked him up a lovely fleece for £8 so that's another £11 saved.
Still need to finish buying OH's presents and get his little girl something - didn't budget a set amount for her as i'll be using the money i saved for a few little things
My budget for all presents was £260
Total spend so far - £110.45
Total savings so far - £48.56
Doing great so far and i'm so made up with myself :T :j
Off to update my signature, wrap and bag my Grandad's present and hopefully get a few more items on eBay.

Managed to wrap and bag my Grandad's Christmas present yesterday - didn't list any items on eBay but did chase buyer up over item that still hasn't been collected. Told me they'd definitely be picking it up today, didn't show up or contact me  so I've just offered it to the other person who bid (fingers crossed they still want it).
Collected points on my Morrisons card from my Mum's, Grandad's and my own shopping today so i now have 3290 plus some processing so it'll actually be over 4000
Waiting for my first Shopitize payment to come through as i got to £5.75 cashed it out yesterday but says it can take up to two working days so that'll probably come through next week.
Picked up a present for OH's little girl - One Direction T-shirt for £7 but it had 25% off so came in at £5.25 - her presents are coming out of my Christmas savings so i'm even more pleased that i'm getting them at bargain prices
My budget for all presents was £260

Do you use Quidco or Topchashback for your online purchases?
You are doing so well. Like you we are saving for a deposit, though ours is £20k as expensive location:/£2 Savers club £0/£150
1p a day £/0 -
Hi lindsaygalaxy,
I did use Topcashback until a few weeks ago - i worked out i'd only ever made £1.36 on it and couldn't even withdraw that lol - i don't tend to use my card or internet to buy things.
Wow that's a big deposit - good luck on your journey to get it!
Daily diary update!
Sold a few items on eBay and made £14.46 but then realised i'd forgot to remove the dinner set money (£27) from my savings so will just minus sales off that until it goes over - still fuming over being let down
Listing some more items on eBay tonight as there's free listings and seems i spent the day rearranging and sorting my room out i have a big box of sellable goods.
Managed to pick up a set of two tops for £3.50 reduced from £6 and two pairs of leggings for £2.50 reduced from £4 so that's another 4 items for her and all for £6 so i'll minus that off my savings as that's what i was using for her presentsalso when i purchased these i got my £5 voucher from morrisons
My budget for all presents was £260

Never managed to put stuff on eBay as was too tired but i will do this on Saturday as i'll have my 20 free items to list
Got to post 2 items off later today + then that'll mean i only need to make £17.74 to be back on track, should manage that within a few days as have items finishing on eBay. Relisted items that didn't sell and also started a Cash4Clothes bin bag off (for clothes that don't sell on eBay) and also a Barnado's box off (for things that don't sell on eBay).
Going to do a little bit of shopping with OH tonight as he's set his budgets for Christmas presents + wants to get them sorted ASAP - fingers crossed we can both be done and organised before the end of November!

Not much to report today - looking back at my posts and seeing how well I've done really does spur me on to keep it up
It doesn't even phase me if people don't read/comment because this helps me record everything and i look back at it without thinking I've lost it etc.
After weighing in at 10st 4lb this morning (heaviest I've ever been) - I've now decided that i'm going to start healthy eating and exercising more and try to have at least 5 portions of fruit and veg each day - so far today I've managed 4/5 fruit + 2/5 veg. I want to lose a stone but if i can tone up and be happy with how i look i might not need to lose that much.. My goal is to be able to fit into my dress for New Year's eve - so i have exactly 62 days to get slim - hopefully with the help of OH + the my fitness pal app i should be fine
Just got to £17.55 on One Poll - taking longer than i expected but at least it's going up.
Seems i ended up off track because of a failed eBay sale i only need to make £4.99 to be back on track - thank god (Hate earning money + not seeing the total rise )
