Help! Leaving the military soon

Hi
IM due to leave the military in 8 weeks but iv just had a stroke. I'm 26 years old and have served for 8 years. The doctors have said iv had a stroke brought on with stress from leaving the military as well as ptsd. He has referred me to see a psychologist. But recommends that I don't work untill I'm mentally able to. I have a wife and 3 kids and all I can does worry about what will happen in 8 weeks time. I don't know the benefit system nor what I untitled to can somebody please help. I'd be grateful

seek the advice of the Royal British Legion - they may be able to help with benefits advice and possibly other financial help.0

Also call SSAFA, they are very good at helping to make sure you receive any / all benefits you are due as well as helping in other ways too - financial, arranging grants if you need any adjustments at home, etc.
Will you receive any sort of payment from the services?
