Hello , newbie here! Hope I'm posting in the right section?!
Have just found my 2 sons old bristol and west account books, they both have £25 each on them with the last transaction being in 2002!!
I know bristol and west were taken over by the bank of Ireland, would these accounts have been transferred over? Could my sons get the money back??
Thanks in advance:)

Bristol and West became part of Britannia which itself became part of the Co-op?
The accounts are probably now dormant?

B&W itself was indeed sold to the Bank of Ireland but it later sold its savings and investment arm to the Britannia0
