The following information and terms and conditions relate to the Japan National Tourism Organisation Facebook prize draw to ‘Win a five star trip to Tokyo & discover your Japan’ (the ‘Promotion’) and associated promotions run by Digital Visitor Limited (the ‘Administrator’). By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. ‘The Promoter’ of this action is the Japan National Tourism Organisation whose registered office is at 12 Nicholas Lane, London, EC4N 7BN United Kingdom.



1. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.


2. This Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 and over only.


3. Employees of the Japan National Tourism Organisation, Digital Visitor and (the ‘PrizePartners’) Air France, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo, Dorling Kindersley Limited or The Japan Centre, their members, partners or any company involved in the Promotion, or members of their families or households, are not eligible to win.


4. The Promotion opens 9:30am (BST) October 1st 2014 and closes 5:00pm(GMT) October 29th 2014 (the ‘Promotion Period’). No entries submitted before or after the Promotion Period will be valid. The promoter has the authority to amend, extend or withdraw this without prior notice at any time during this period.


5. The Promotion is free to enter - no purchase is necessary.


6. All valid and successful entries made during the Promotion Period will be eligible to win the main holiday prize consisting of:
a. Return flights from Air France (See terms and conditions at point 8 a-q)
b. 4 nights’ accommodation for two people at the Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo (See terms and conditions at point 9 a-c)

7. All valid and successful entries made during the Promotion Period will be eligible to win 1 of 10 runner up prizes consisting of:
a. 1x DK Eyewitness Travel Guide: Japan
AND
b. 1x EITHER Japan Centre Sushi Kit OR Japan Centre Japanese Pop Culture Set


8. Air France Terms and Conditions:
a. Tickets are on Air France only and are subject to availability.
b. Prize consists of one pair of Economy class return tickets to Tokyo via Paris Charles de Gaulle from London Heathrow on Air France operated flights.
c. Flights include taxes.
d. Prize does not include transfer to or from the airports or accommodation.
e. Each pair of return tickets must be used together. Both passengers must travel together.
f. No changes are allowed once tickets have been issued.
g. Latest day for booking must be 15th December 2014.
h. No extension of the date or change of destination will be allowed from those specified.
i. Tickets are non-refundable.
j. Prize is non-transferable and cannot be substituted for any other prize or cash value.
k. Travel is to be completed by 31st May 2015.
l. Tickets are subject to availability and subject to an embargo period between 15th December and 15th January 2015 and between 1st and 8th April 2015.
m. No date changes will be accepted after the booking has been made.
n. Income taxes (if any) paid on the value of this prize, or any other applicable surcharges, shall be the responsibility of the winner, parent or legal guardian.
o. Winning tickets are excluded from the Flying Blue programme.
p. Winners who are members of this programme, including those who accompany them, may not accrue Miles for the prize flights.
q. Winners must be over the age of 18 with a valid passport to travel (valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date for the trip). Winner and accompanying persons must obtain all visas, permissions and other documentation required. Air France is not liable for the costs of obtaining the correct entry documents.


9. Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo Terms and conditions:
a. Accommodation will be provided courtesy of Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo.
b. The Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo accommodation must be used between 1 December 2014 and 31st May 2015, subject to availability and not on the following blackout dates: 20 December 2014-24 December 2014, 27 December 2014 - 3 January 2015, 20 March 2015-21 March 2015, 1 May 2015-5 May 2015.
c. Prize is for accommodation fort wo people sharing a twin or double room for four nights and includes breakfast.


10. To enter the Promotion, you must like the Visit Japan from the UK Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Visit-Japan-from-the-UK/142618929107586?ref=ts&fref=ts ), visit the prize draw tab (http://!!!!!!!/1sVTgyt), complete the three question quiz, fill in your details and click submit.


11. There are no right or wrong quiz answers.


12. Proof of entry, is not proof of receipt.


13. The Promoter, Administrator and the Prize Partners accept no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to the Promotion.


14. If for any reason any aspect of the Promotion does not function correctly, whether by means of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter and Administrator that corrupts or affects the administration, integrity or fairness of the Promotion, then the Promoter may at its sole discretion cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion and/or invalidate affected entries.


15. The Promoter reserves the right, at its discretion, to disqualify any entrant and withhold prizes if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these rules or if they do not comply with any of these terms and conditions.


16. The Promoter also reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and any amendments will be published on the website www.seejapan.co.uk


17. Promotion winners will be chosen at random by the Promoter, unless specified otherwise,from all qualifying entries within 14 days of the competition closing date.


18. Promotion winners will be contacted within five working days of random draw taking place.


19. The Promoter and Administrator will use reasonable endeavours to contact the winners using the contact details supplied upon entry to the Promotion. If a winner does not respond within 14 days of the first notification, then the winner forfeits the right to claim the Prize. Neither the Promoter nor Administrator shall be responsible should the winner provide incorrect contact or delivery details.


20. The winners will be asked to book their prizes in accordance with these terms and conditions and any other instructions provided by the Administrator and the Promoter.


21. All travel, holiday or health insurance, passports and any required visas shall be the responsibility of the prize winner(s) and not the Promoter, Administrator or Prize Partners.


22. Travel dates may be restricted.


23. The accommodation and flights must be taken at the same time as part of the same trip.


24. All prizes are subject to availability.


25. Individual Prize Provider terms and conditions apply.


26. Additional costs are not included within the holiday prize (including but not limited to,food and drink, spending money, excursions and airport transfers) and are the responsibility of the prize winners and not the Promoter, the Administrator or any of the Prize Partners.


27. The Promoter, Administrator, Prize Partners and their associated agencies and companies accept no liability for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with the Promotion or the winners’ enjoyment of the prizes, other than such liability that cannot be excluded by law including death or personal injury caused by negligence, where liability shall be limited to the minimum permissible by law.


28. Promotion winner(s)' names may be published on the Japan National Tourism Organisation website and Social Media Accounts.


29. After 29th October 2014 and for the following 3 months, the name and county of residence of the winners will be available upon written request to Japan National Tourism Organization 12 Nicholas Lane, London, EC4N 7BN United Kingdom. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope for a list of winners.


30. Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity without compensation and the Promoter reserves the right to use the names and addresses of winners/photographs of them in any publicity.


31. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation, and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent. 32. The Promoters decision is final.


33. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.


34. This Promotion is in no way sponsored or endorsed by Facebook. You are providing your information to the Promoter and the Prize Partners and not to Facebook. The information you provide will only be used in the administration of the competition and for email marketing purposes. You may opt out of receiving further communications from the promoter and Prize Partners by un-ticking the box in the entry form provided.
