ce- service Parking fine at mote park leisure centre

My son recently attended MOTE PARK LEISURE CENTRE MAIDSTONE for a pool birthday party I stayed with him as he is only 9 yrs old today I received a parking fine from CE-Services civil enforcement, stating I stayed 30 mins over the 3 hrs allotted . firstly I did not see the signage on entering the car park concentrating on driving quite frankly.on speaking to the leisure centre the receptionist was very unhelpful stated there were 176 signs in the car park, exactly where I'm not sure!! and then informed me the person who booked the party should have told everyone to hand their numberplate number in at reception . So what happens when the person booking it doesn't understand English fully . plus no signage in the leisure centre to indicate this. Has anyone else been stung here?? and how/who do I complain too to get this quashed I am livid. Will not be returning on principle.

Appeal it and win. Was a windscreen ticket issued?, or this car park monitored with ANPR cameras (I would guess so)?
Read the Newbies thread and get the standerd soft appeal in.
They'll reject it, but will give you a POPLA code that you'll use to defeat them. Use the templates for your POPLA appeal.

BUT do post your draft POPLA appeal on here for comment before you send it (and don't miss the POPLA deadlines).0 -
Why the new thread? Why not just read the thread near the top, called 'Private parking ticket? NEWBIES please read these FAQs first' and send the template first appeal like everyone else? Even the link given by ezerscrooge is already in the sticky thread and is for POPLA stage where you (the keeper of the car) will win.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No you didn't.0 -
I'm in good mood today (lighter workload than normal), so I've done a little bit of spoon-feeding, I know I shouldn't because the Newbies thread is really good and gives people all the tools they need. The darkness may well return tomorrow (along with mountains of paperwork). lol0

I've sent you a private message, please check your folder! Have had the same awful experience with them (didn't see the signs there either, goodness knows where they are hiding them, but they are clearly inadequate), and poor customer service too. They were SO rude and disinterested. Another boycotter here too.0
