Remortaging next year, multiple searches on file.

I'll be needing to remortgage in May 2015 as my fix comes to an end.
I'm currently opening and switching bank accounts to get the bonuses and this, as you probably already know, involves credit searches. I've not hit any problems so far, but I am wondering if I should stop soon to prevent all these searches effecting a remortgage application next year?

To be cautious I would try not to have any credit application searches in say the 6months prior to applying for a mortgage.
One or 2 recent searches may not impact on a mortgage, but the bonuses probably are not worth risking a higher mortgage rate offer.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi Sponge,
As Tixy has said recent searches can have a negative impact when you make further applications. In addition having recently opened accounts would also been seen a negative by some lenders, as they like to be able to see that you have run the accounts without difficulty for several months before offering further credit. So having a number of recently opened accounts could also impact your application.
