1. This promotion is only open to UK residents, aged over 18, excluding employees of the Promoter and all those professionally associated with this promotion.
2. To Enter: simply visit https://www.thomasjfudges.co.uk/win/a-hatbox, enter your details and press submit to be entered into the next available prize draw.
3. This promotion will run monthly from 00:01 on the first day of each month until 23:59 on the last day of the respective month (“monthly period”). There will be a draw at the end of each monthly period until further notice, however The Promoter will give 30 days’ notice before ceasing the promotion.
4. Maximum of 1 entry per person per month will be permitted.
5. No purchase is necessary however internet access is required.
6. The Prizes: For each Monthly Period, one entrant will be selected to win 1 x Hatbox full of Thomas J Fudge’s biscuits.
7. Each Monthly Period winner will be selected in a random draw conducted by PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification company, from all valid entries received during the relevant Monthly Period. Each draw will take place within 5 days of the relevant closing date.
8. Each Monthly Period winner will be contacted within 7 days of the relevant draw. In the event that a winner is not contactable following reasonable efforts or has not responded within 14 days of notification to confirm acceptance of the prize then the promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to a reserve winner.
9. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of the prize.
10. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prizes as stated. No cash alternative is available and once confirmed, the prize is non-transferable or refundable.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of an equal or greater value if, for any reason, the original item is unavailable.
12. By entering, winners agree that if they win, they will participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by The Promoter or its agencies.
13. By entering the promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms & conditions and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the prize. No correspondence will be entered into.
14. The Promoter or its agencies accept no responsibility for any loss, injury or damage suffered through acceptance of the prize.
15. The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of The Promoter or its agencies. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.
16. To the full extent permitted by law the Promoter will not accept liability for any loss, damage, injury or death arising from this promotion beyond its reasonable control.
17. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion.
18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for system errors or other issues that may result in disruption to lost, delayed or not received registrations or winner notifications.
19. The winners’ names and counties will be available by sending a stamped SAE to Fudge’s Hatbox Monthly Prize Draw Winners List, PO Box 95, Leigh, Lancs, WN7 1WS for a period of one month following the end of the relevant draw.
20. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the promotion. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, or via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
