Selling a phone on Amazon - tips?

I intend to sell my fairly new Samsung phone on Amazon (as I am replacing it). It's in full working order.
I am however worried about how to do it - obviously want to avoid scams/etc
Does anyone have any tips and things I should look out for? Do you think it'd be better to sell on Ebay?
Thanks!!

TBH, Ebay is such a paradise for scammers when selling a mobi, I'd use Gumtree then you know it's cash in hand an no SNAD after 180 days.0

Yes gumtree too but expect loads of people asking you to post it to them to them and offering silly prices0

gumtree for cash in person sale only. No way would I have listed an item like that on ebay.
could try places like cex shops, Iv sold a few (old) mobiles to them for about the same as I would have been left with after ebay/pp fees but with no risk of scam buyer :-)0 -
I've tried listing the phone on Amazon... someone is sending me messages asking me to speak to 'her' directly via her personal email rather than the Amazon messaging system.
It's starting well..
I'll have to look into Gumtree...though I find it difficult!London Fashion Week tickets, Clinique Facial treatment set (I see it as a win :P) Mario Power Tennis Wii game, Aura by Swaroski perfume, Theatre Tickets to 'A woman alone' :T, £1000 with Kerrang's Scream4Cash, Links of London Wedding Themed Bracelet, Chipmunk O2 launch party tickets, Adidas All In gig tickets, Water For Elephants Double Bill tix0 -

Sadly gumtree search/advertising placement have both seem to have suffered since ebay bought it. I remember the search used to work much better when looking for local items :-(
If you use gumtree keywords are key, so try to get them right so people can find your ad easily :-) I do cash only, in a public place (I dont give out my home address)0 -
Will sound silly, but I'm scared someone will try and give me fake banknotes??

There is plenty of literature online about what to look for. Tester pens are cheap too. Any genuine buyer will understand you taking precautions. If a buyer is uncomfortable about it then that's a huge warning sign. If you know anyone in retail or banking you could have a chat to them for tips. Also you could specify that you won't accept £50 notes to limit your exposure.
FWIW I have sold several iPhones and iPads on eBay with no problems. I was very sceptical beforehand about steps to take to limit risk.
One of the sales I was extremely concerned about. Few previous transactions (all sim cards), little feedback and the senders address worried me slightly. I was expecting a problem with it but all was fine.
The models I sold weren't latest generation though so that probably lessened the risk. I still consider selling this sort of product risky though.
