Hey Abba
Hopefully we can both do it for next year, will be a very long time coming!
We're going down to Cornwall for a week, nice chalet in a caravan park not to far to the beach :j I don't mind a self catering holiday, I prefer a bit of home from home (plus it's cheaper!)
Some of our kids have never been to the beach so I'm proper excited about taking them
Hoping to fit in a couple of days visit to a theme park as well (early booking offers starting already) would be lovely if we can fit that in too. It's not usually break the bank expensive and the kids love going.
Hopefully 2018 turns into a much better year for us.
I'm ever hopeful of that lottery win to solve all my problems :rotfl:
Better start putting the lottery on then :rotfl:NEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -

Good afternoon diary
I have had the house to myself today, so have caught up on all my paperwork, had a cuppa next door and am now about to throw myself in the bath
Still working flat out 6 days a week at work, the overtime money is coming in handy but won't last for ever (hopefully till after Christmas)
Hoping we can find some extra money to book a trip to a theme park for a couple of days next year, same as we have done the last couple of years. The kids really love doing that trip.
Won't be getting the debt anywhere near £10k by Christmas now, getting it to begin with a 13 would be great.
Right, cup of tea and bath time. It's the little things I enjoyHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Evening diary.
I've been having a look around online at our mortgage account and I found we can change our mortgage payment online (hadn't realised how easy it was)
I've just round our mortgage payment up to the next hundred pounds so we will be paying a bit extra off each month.
It says it can easily be reversed back to the original figure.
All our debts are on 0% and manageable so I figured a bit extra towards the mortgage wouldn't harm anyoneHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Better!
Have managed to get us back to where we were at the end of September.
Just getting the debt below £14 in time for new year is now the most realistic target.
Luckily the Christmas shopping is nearly done and I still have a £100 in vouchers to use for bits I've missed

Hello diary.
Well the new payments on the mortgage have started.
Ran the overpayment calculator and if we can find an extra £100 on top of the new payments we should have our mortgage down below £150k before the fixed rate ends.
Hoping for a good ltv so we can haggle for a good rate at the end of our fixed term

Do you haggle with your current mortgage provider for a better rate once you're fixed term ends????NEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050

Hello diary.
Didn't get time to pop on and wish you a happy Christmas
Money is a bit tight here as I've booked us a theme park break for early next year and paid in full.
2 holidays next year both already paid, I'm so excited :j
Payday money is already allocated so it's just a wait till mid month when there's some spare cash coming into the account.
Means we need to be good for a couple of weeks.
Bring on 2018, I'm feeling optimistic about our debt busting for the new yearHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Morning diary
Well we've started the year with a really tight January. Forgot the parking permit needed paying for
Currently only got a couple of hundred in the account to last us the next 2 weeks  so trying to be on best behaviour.
