Ok in part 3 of my ebay saga:
I have claimed a paypal dispute for item not as described. Paypal told me to send it back which I did -Special delivery. On checking the tracking number it says they tried to deliver and left a card. I have a feeling the seller wont accept the delivery- very awkward lady! What happens in these circumstances. Do paypal refund me because I can prove I tried to deliver it or will they say they need a signature?

Just checked again and still no delivery made. I wll be really P*****d off if paypal dont refund. What's the point of having protection if it just makes you spend more- ie delivery, and then you get nothing back?!0

Just a thought... it's worth writing in the dispute along the lines of:
'RM have tried to deliver the item I returned, and say they've left a card. Just typing this so you know that the item is at the delivery office waiting for you to collect'
Paypal will then know you sent it, they'll know seller is stalling about collecting it, and the seller will know you know they haven't collected it.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I read a few weeks ago of something similar. The buyer was refunded as they had sent the goods, and paypal knew it was a delaying tactic by the seller not to pick it up.0
