Take a look on pc worlds website or alternatively you could buy the following directly from HP and save £5 over PC Worlds price.

    £35 including delivery.

Either way, your main ongoing cost will relate to the price of ink cartridges. HP301's often come up discounted for a pack of 1 black and 1 multi colour. The downside of many cheaper printers is that the colour cartridge is a single unit containing 3 colours so if you use up one colour more than another then the other two are wasted. If you print primarily in black then it's not too bad.

Neil49, That is my problem, the cost of the inks. I have had a lot of printers and have found that the cost of the inks almost equals the cost of the printer, the best and most reliable printer I have ever had was an Epsom mono with cheap cartridges from Tesco, sorry to say they do not make them now.

I don't need an all in one have no use for colour, and could not afford the inks

I have seen some Mono ones which are quite cheap but the toner comes out expensive.

I will carry on going down to the library, cheaper than buying a printer.:rotfl:

There is an HP wifi printer on offer in my local Tesco at the moment, it might be in a Tesco near you too. Under £30 for wired and about £35-ish for the wifi version.

As a general rule, the cheaper the printer the more expensive the ink/toner per print. I'd check the long term running costs for a few models of varying prices before buying anything.
