Sold some auctions on Sunday, a couple were £2-£3. Just had a message today (Wednesday).
"Hi, Just letting you know I'll be paying for these on the 12th". I was not bothered, initially, then looked at the date:mad:
No apology or request. Polite message back through gritted teeth to follow;)

Wow i really dont get that attitude, or the lack of basic manners.0

I'd just block & raise a NPB.
If they come back to you, just tell them ebay automatically sends out those notifications.0 -
I told them that in the message. I'll see if they respond and open NPB in a day or two.RainbowDrops wrote: »I'd just block & raise a NPB.

As mentioned above, it's more about the lack of any explanation or anything else. If I'd have had some whacky excuse ("my ferret has eaten all my credit cards and my laptop with all my Paypal log in details was stolen by a passing giant") I would have been more likely to say okay.
I used to have someone work for me who was always late and never bothered with an excuse, I tried encouraging him to make something up but he never did, a bit of polite imagination goes a long way with me!.0 -
open a NPB now is my advice

Why? That would seem like it would just wind the customer up. I've sent a nice message, I'll give a chance to respond then open NPB. Item isn't taking up a significant space, fees are no more than 40p, I can relist any time. The buyer could have got the date wrong, so I'll give the benefit of the doubt until proved otherwise.BigSister2008 wrote: »open a NPB now is my advice
I don't use a set time on NPBs, the automated time is set at 14 days, I think. I usually do at between 3-5 days if I get any.
That said I haven't heard back yet and I'm guessing I won't know..0 -
why not?
Buyer is rude and does not play by the rules, you will block so won't be doing business with them again, you just want this resolved and put behind you as soon as possible.
NPB now.The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
Fair enough, I must be too nice. I don't see it as something that needs sorting immediately. I may if it was higher value.why not?

As they've got in contact, I wouldn't NPB yet, I would be doing it the day after if payment wasn't forthcoming.0

By the time your allowed to open a NPB case & close it, they could pay with a Paypal eCheque, which will take another 5 days
So will be most likely the 12th by the time its cleared & then they will open a INR case, so make sure its sent tracked, cheap with Hermes0
