Most of those journeys will be as quick, if not quicker by Bus compared to Tube at the weekend.
Cheaper too.
Yes, for the Tube, it'll be a Zone 1-2 ticket.0 -
These maps might be useful:

The letters on them correspond to the letter on top of the actual bus stop in the street e.g. stop H is near the hotel:

Which off peak (ie all weekend) doesn't exist - it's zones 1-6 for the same price0 -

It's odd that that site should sell tickets that TfL don't - though I do recall trying a dummy purchase once and being told they were out of stock.
They do charge a bomb for postage so no good for OP - no time0 -

I suspect it's nothing other than old ticket stock that the Visit Britain shop will continue to sell until it's depleted. It does make it a bit confusing for visitors though!0 -
will she be ok buying it do you think0

If she wants a Day Travelcard she should just buy it at a Tube or railway station in London, from either the ticket office or ticket machine - the cost is £8.90 for the zones 1-6 Off-peak version (valid any time after 0930 on weekdays, or at any time at weekends, until 0430 the next day). The Off-peak zones 1&2 and 1-4 versions were withdrawn from sale at the beginning of this year (January 2014).
If she has a contactless debit or credit card then it'd be better for her to use that (and quite possibly cheaper too) - when using the Tube, she'd need to 'touch in' using the contactless card at the start of the journey and then 'touch out' at the end, when using buses she'd just need to 'touch in' when she boards the bus.

Otherwise she might want to consider getting an Oyster card, especially if she's travelling around London for more than one day.0 -

not hyde park and harrods
Can use http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=en to investigate the different journeys
If she is travelling in from outside London, she should be able to get the travel card as part of her rail travel in / out - is she?0
