Hi folks need some help here my mother in law is retiring from work at the age of 77 bless her
She has worked for same company for 30plus years always on minimum wage she has never had housing benefit or council tax benefit although we felt she would have been entitled to it she never claimed working tax credit
She has been told she is getting full housing and council tax benefit
But I was wondering if she is entitled any back pay or any other benefit that could come her way
She draws her state pension any advice would be good

She won't be entitled to any 'back pay' unless she can show that she was wrongly advised about rights to any benefits. She can't claim now for any benefit she simply didn't claim earlier.
