I stuck our old faulty washing machine on ebay nearly a month ago hoping to save having to take it to the tip myself, as cash on collection only. I know strictly you cant insist that but that's what I wanted so they could not come back complaining that it did not work. Happily it sold for £20, but to a buyer is listed as 200 miles away? after a couple of requests to come and get it they paid buy PayPal and then no more. Its still sat here in my way even though I've got the money. what should I do?

Request their phone number from eBay and call them?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

I've got a similar problem. Item sold 20th July and buyer paid by paypal, despite a couple of phone calls promising pick up they are still here. Have tried texting twice since 17th September but getting no reply. May relist but not sure on buyers right for a refund.
This has happened with a few buyers recently and it's getting very annoying.0 -

You cannot keep the goods and the money, that much must be obvious.
Your issues are that after 60 days if you refund the PayPal payment your PayPal fees remain payable. Also refunding without sending a mutual cancellation first (if only by a minute) can result in a defect.
Collection only items are always a gamble, sometimes you lose. Have a read of this
