Baylis & Harding prizes not sent.

Options
They did a competition end of August on Facebook. There were 10 winners every day for 5 days, so 50 winners in total. I was one of the winners on Day 3 of the competition.
They requested that all winners contact them via Facebook by September 10th with postage details. Since then nothing. I have sent them a private message, written on their timeline and sent 2 emails, requesting that they inform people on FB when they expect to be sending out their prizes, and no answer to any of them.
Surprisingly not many of the winners seem to be concerned. Either they don't know they have won, have received their prizes or maybe just are not bothered, but less than a handful have commented on the timeline re the lack of prizes arriving.
Has anyone else had dealings with the company?

If it was the end of August then, unless they stated delivery would be quicker, they have only just reached the promotions guideline of "delivery should be within 30 days" and still have someway to go if details were provided on 10th Sept.

Still nothing from the company. Other winners are now also complaining. Like me, they have also sent emails, messages etc which have been ignored. One winner phoned and was told she would be rung back, which hasn't,t happened. Advice please :)

I'm not on twitter. Another winner has phoned them twice and has been told they will ring back, but this has not happened. A number of us have left personal messages on Facebook, as well as sending emails, non of which have been replied to. They are also ignoring messages on their timeline. Not good PR!

Positive publicity becomes negative when all they had to do was say it would take 45 days or however long.

Try giving them a prod in the press dept (these details are on public view on their website)

I won on their Twitter comp and received prize within 10 days of supplying address details. Might be worth setting up a Twitter account to contact that way.
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board

Thank you everyone for your comments. I sent a3rd email, saying how disappointed I was with them, that it was usual for promoters to send out prizes within 30 days of end of competition or of receiving winners details, and that if they had a problem then to at least post on their timeline the reason for delay and approx date prizes would be sent out!
I also said that if they didn't,t post onto their timeline within 2 days I would contact IPM and ASA.
I received the following day an email apologising and they also apologised on their timeline on FB. They said it was due to the popularity of the product they are giving winners, which meant they were in short supply, but that all winners should receive their prizes next week and they would be sending something extra as a way to apologise for the delay. So hopefully all is sorted. Thanks again for advice
