You paid entirely with vouchers and were charged fees? If so, complain, and see what happens.

Under what circumstances did you get the vouchers, and when? What were the T&Cs at that time?

Out of curiousity I just tried a test booking using only (very old) eVouchers. Sadly the booking fee no longer seems to disappear.

Booking fee looks to be applied now regardless of payment method :-(
  • Warning to all: the redspottedhanky "loyalty" scheme cancels points at year-end even if earned a day before !
I checked- not a hint of a warning to the email which definitely works; and of course, no mention at all in the "welcome" pages.

Yes this is in the Ts & Cs and yes we should read Ts & Cs - but surely a "loyalty" scheme should not punish customers? All other schemes only kill your points if you're inactive for say a year.

It struck me that a warning of imminent expiry would encourage buying tickets, say, very likely at higher prices than the points.

Is this good business? Bye Bye RSH, hope you gave my lost points to Charidee.

They took mine from New Years Day!

They gave them back when asked.
  • Appreciate the post :-)

    Appreciate the post :-)

I sent them an email. Got a stock response back first time round (they'd clearly not read it properly/at all) so sent it again.

Apart from the clubcard vouchers exchange RSH are not worth using now. The "loyalty" points get eclipsed by the £1 booking fee.
  • Not used RSP for a while. When using vouchers does the booking fee add to the vouchers used or have you got to use a credit card for the £1.

Assuming you have enough in vouchers to cover the total cost including booking fee then it all goes against the voucher
