Entry Criteria
1. Participants must be resident in the UK or Ireland and aged 18 years or over as at 26 August 2014. Multiple entries are permitted.
2. All entrants must follow @Skyscanner on Twitter or Instagram, depending on which platform they choose to submit their entry on.
3. You can enter the Competition by uploading a photo and using the hashtag #Skyscanner2024. The theme of the Competition is water, so participants should upload their entry bearing in mind it should contain strong elements of water, underwater or marine wildlife, for example.
4. By entering the competition, you consent to your name, entry and any other reasonable personal details supplied being used by Skyscanner for promotional/marketing purposes and the announcement of the winner of the competition. Where you give consent, Skyscanner may also contact you with promotional and marketing emails.
5. By entering the competition, the winner accepts full and complete responsibility for their own safety and welfare at all times.
7. By submitting your entry, you confirm that:
a) Your entry is originally yours, does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party and conforms to the requirements of these terms and conditions.
The Prize
1. The prize consists of three nights’ accommodation at Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai, which the winner will be contacted about directly by Atlantis, plus return flights for two people from the winner’s home country to Dubai, up to a maximum value of £1,500 Travel arrangements will be booked by Skyscanner in accordance with the winner’s reasonable request (subject to availability) and forwarded to the winner’s email address. When communicating the flight travel request to Skyscanner, the winner undertakes to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the relevant 3rd party travel provider, and consents to Skyscanner sharing information with the 3rd party travel provider to the extent necessary to book the prize in accordance.
2. The Prize is non-refundable and no cash alternative will be given. Where the stated prize is unavailable at the applicable value, an alternative of equal value will be provided. If the travel options selected by a winner are no longer available within the limit on the appropriate dates, an equivalent will be booked. Any extra activities and costs beyond the specified prize will be the responsibility of the winner.
4. Skyscanner accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from accepting a Prize and recommends that all entrants obtain independent financial advice in this regard.
5. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of Skyscanner and which prevents Skyscanner from complying with these terms and conditions, Skyscanner will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations. Except in respect of liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, or for any fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law, Skyscanner will not be liable for any losses, damages, expenses, costs or claims arising out of or relating to this Competition or the use of the Prize, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
