Installing a woodburning stove

Hi
I decided to get a wood burning stove and a local company came out to do a survey and then to do some work to enlarge the fire chamber. In enlarging the fire chamber they drilled through the wall into the dining room. The fireplaces are set at 45 degree angles in the two rooms. This was patched up but now I have a crack in the plaster in the chimney breast in the living room which starts where they drilled through the wall. The stove has not yet been installed and the company haven't had the final payment. Should I be concerned?
Thanks
