New Kitchen from B&Q

Hi,
I'm buying a new kitchen and have been quoted £1100 for the unites, worktops, plinths, handles and unit fronts.
Essentially I am having:
x2 corner units (800mm)
x2 slim line units (150mm)
x4 wall units (x2 @ 500mm and x2 @ 400mm)
x1 drawer unit (600mm I think)
x1 shelved floor unit. (600mm I think)
plus plinths
a Wooden style work top x2
and a false board
They are from the B&Q IT and are the country white fronts.
I thought £1100 sounded good but to be honest we haven't looked anywhere else. B&Q are pushing me to pay now. I haven't factored in delivery (yet)
I have a joiner friend who is installing the units for me at cost.

If you have a joiner friend, does he not have an account at Howdens or Magnet Trade.
Worth looking at Howdens this month as they have their October push on and have better prices than normal. Plus you don't have to wait 6 weeks for delivery/replacement parts.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
If you have a Joiner friend then get him to price up the units from DIY kitchens online.
You will get a superior kitchen to B&Q ,Howdens etc for less money.0 -

IT kitchens are off the shelf. They aren't that great. They need to be really well fitted to stand a chance of lasting.
If that is your budget, OP, so be it but I wouldn't choose an IT kitchen. I'd probably go to Ikea.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

He wont let me use his discount cards (no idea why!) He offered to let me use his trade card but then said to just pay what B&Q was asking....
I don't want to spend a fortune on the kitchen but equally I don't want it to be rubbish0 -
Doesn't sound much of a friend0

Go to Howdens direct, we did. I am a Unison member and they promote we can go there but they didn't even ask. Their quote was very competitive and next day supply.
