My IE 11 will not let me select and copy an address from the address bar - I cannot cut and paste either - when I try, it deselects the text !!
I am unable to use Ctr + C - it deselects the highlighted text...
It is infuriating - any suggestions/fixes ?

I just hover the pointer over it and right click, it highlight the address and brings up the box to allow me to select copy.
I never try to highlight it first.0 -

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

I just don't get how you're not getting it..... left-click over the address, copy, job done... just be careful where you hold the mouse pointer

Well I just tried with IE 11 and I can put the mouse anywhere in the address box not just over the url, right click and select copy. CTRL-C works for me too. So does highlighting all or part with click and drag.
I've not found anything that doesn't yet...
I doubt it matters but this machine runs Win 80 -
