Hi
My Nokia 3120 has a G symbol in the top left hand corner, I think this means it has a GPRS connection, and I don't know if it's costing me more. I've searched the manual and can't figure out how to turn it off.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

I think the G just means you are in a GPRS enabled area. If it is flashing you are connected0

it does mean you are on a gprs connection.
i had a w810i that did the same thing (G above the signal) and it didnt cost0 -
Surely the G is just an indication your phone is GPRS enabled and in an area where a GPRS connection is possible.
It won't cost any money unless you connect to collect e-mail or access the internet and then it will start flashing to show you are using GPRS0 -
Thats right, when you go to a non-enabled area you see a red line through the 'G' symbolSurely the G is just an indication your phone is GPRS enabled and in an area where a GPRS connection is possible.

Brilliant thanks all, I hadn't seen it on before so assumed I'd changed something by mistake.
Thanks
