Switching from Npower (during ET)
We would like to switch to another supplier immediately.
The only problem is Scottish Power are providing our energy due to an erroneous transfer (their mistake, long standing problem of several months, waiting for Npower to take back supply, complaint currently awaiting Energy Ombudsman).
Is there any reason why we can’t instruct another supplier now - would they agree to this during an ET?
We really haven’t found Npower satisfactory. In our experience they don’t answer any questions, provide information or reply to official complaints.
We certainly do not want to go back to them if and when this is ever resolved and would like to start a transfer now.

I suspect instructing another supplier while a ET correction is in progress could create further confusion and problems.0 -
Yes, whilst being tempted to try to forget all of this mess and switch supplier, I suppose it would cause a lot of confusion.
Just so frustrated with Npower's incompetence. If feels like we are being punished, having to stay with them, through no fault of our own, while waiting to see if they ever sort things out.0
