3rd party tax claim company.

Hello.
First of all; this is my first post on this forum so hello everyone

My story:
Earlier this year I decided to apply for getting my expenses back from my tax (uniform laundry) from the last 3 years. I applied trough the website uniformtaxrebate. Being very inexperienced and careless in my choices I used that 3rd party company as I was not aware I could do it on my own( I know.. right). As you probably know the deed of assignment is constructed in that way that ''any tax due'' goes to the assignee. Instead of boosting my yearly tax return with extra expenses claim I assigned the income tax I was due (quite a lot) to that company without being aware that HMRC does not separate the ''expenses tax'' and ''overpaid tax'' The company charges 20% + fees just for the fact that you have completed the form on the website(there is no other service than that, they don't even chase it for you) . At the moment the claim is friezed as I have sent the deed of reassignment to HMRC but they also need the copy from Online Tax Rebate. As you can probably imagine, after I contacted their customer service they replied:
Hi Adam,

If you have already sent the forms in it is too late to revoke the deed of assignment.

Thanks and kind regards,

XXX

I would like to know what are my rights in terms of getting my claim reassign to myself. I am definitely not giving up and letting that 3rd party company steal from me. Where to complaint to and how to get that sorted? I have tried everything on HMRC side. They said that they assign whole claim and they do not separate cases. I have managed to find some useful information on HMRC site

The only thing that gives me hope is:

"No particular form of words is required for the assignment but it must specify the repayment that is being assigned. For example, 'The Income Tax repayment of £1,345.75 due to me for the year 2006-07' or 'Income Tax and Class 4 NIC overpaid by me for the two years ended 5 April 2007' are acceptable, but 'any repayment of tax due to me' is not."

I have the form they use but I could not attach it as I am new user.

Thank you.

Adam
