White smoke and juddering on start up
Hi Everyone,
Is anyone able to help diagnose a problem with my diesel peugeot 207 1.6hdi?
When starting the car after it has been sat overnight, the engine judders and white smoke is seen coming from the exhaust for about 30 seconds (this happens in both warm and cold conditions). This all settles down and the car is fine to drive, unless accelerating too quickly and then white smoke again comes from the exhaust. I don't think it is water in the exhaust (as I have read in other forums) as the smoke smells very strongly of fuel.
Any ideas?
Thanks for taking the time to read.

you run the risk of if you continue to use:
Overfilling engine oil with diesel causing engine failure.
damaged pistons or piston rings and main bearings in the engine if the engine is over fuelling.
damaging EGR valve.
damaging catalytic converter.
damaging lambda sensor.
have a good local trusted independent mechanic look it over ASAP.0
