The Prize Draw opens at 00:01 on 28 September 2014 and closes at 23:59 on 29 September 2014. Entries received outside this time period will not be considered. 8. The winners will be chosen from a random draw of entries, which will be performed by a random computer process. The draw will take place on or after 30 September 2014.
9. Five winners will each receive a pair of tickets to Observer Ideas on 12 October 2014 at The Barbican, London. Only one winner per household. GNM accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize that are not expressly included in the prize. In particular, GNM accepts no responsibility for the costs incurred by the winners or their guests in relation to travel to and from the venue, or any food and drink at the event.
10. The winners will be notified by phone or email on or before 1 October 2014 and given details of how to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to GNM within 4 days of being notified of their win by GNM, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and GNM shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win by GNM within 4 days or else they will also forfeit their prize and, thereafter, GNM will be entitled to select another winner and allocate the prize as it sees fit). If a winner rejects their prize or their entry is invalid or otherwise in breach of these terms, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and GNM shall be entitled to select another winner.
11. Winners will be sent an email with instructions of how to claim their prize by 10 October 2014.
