Happy to report this is still ongoing :D

I'm trying to refrain from verbally asking my manager for an update on this because unless I have a witness, I have no-one who can back up what I say. I'm trying to keep everything through email so I have an audit log

As far as I know this has gone to the senior manager in the company awaiting their response. I'm not even interested if no one came out and properly assessed me, since I believe you can do them through PDFs now anyway. I just want a chair that supports my back

I've already reported it to my Dr and asked her to log it on their records so it's official I've approached them and explained what the problem is incase I need to take it further. I'm still chasing emails, it's now been 2 months since I reported the original issue.

I'm going to keep emailing them and discuss it again with the Dr in a couple of weeks and possibly ask for some stronger pain killers or a gel for back ache

I've also been logging the days I have pain (surprisingly almost daily) and the days when it's too much and I'm taking pain killers.

The main areas of pain are in between/behind shoulders with tingling and burning sensations. And painful lower back. I'm guessing this is because my muscles are getting tired when I'm holding my back straight and my shoulders are because I'm slouching to stay comfortable.

I don't want to sound like a whiner. I'm not a person who's trying to get one over and do a compensation claim with my company, but if it continues I will go that route.

The only thing I can do to alleviate the pains at the moment are walking around the building more to stretch legs. Admittedly, I don't do this but I'm making a coscious habit to do it more. Unfortunately there's days where I'm so busy I don't get a rest.

Pain killers, and slouching :/ not good posture but it's all I can do

Occasionally I'm getting shooting pains down my spine, aching hips and legs.

The only other things I can do are loose weight which I'll work on....

Sigh.... I needed a moan. Most people could easily find out the company I work for, but as mentioned if this goes legal I don't want to appear as slander. So would prefer keeping it quiet now

I just thought I'd post an update to see what advice people could suggest for the moment.
