How long would you keep previous owners' post for
So anyway, we now haven't seen them for months, and I'm not exaggerating when I say the pile of mail for them is over a foot high! There is a lot of promotional stuff and catalogues, but also things from HMI tax, what looks like driving licence/car related things and a few magazines/small parcels. I have no idea if they might have come round.
How long would be reasonable to keep it for? Frankly, it's annoying having a massive pile of stuff lying around my house. But as there are things that look important, id feel bad throwing stuff out, especially if they later came round to collect. On the other hand, it's been 4 months and I tried to suggest a better system...

Stick it back in the post box with 'No longer at this address' on the envelope.
I think you have been more than reasonable, no way would I be still hanging on to all of that post.0 -
write on them return to sender ,pop then back in the post box"Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0

The junk mail i think i'd just put in the bin. 'Cos they weren't very friendly with and wouldn't give you an address, i think the official looking stuff i'd just put 'reader to sender' and pop in a pillar box if you were passing.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

As above - bin/return to sender.
Next time they come, you can tell them you haven't received anything - if they don't quite get the hint to start redirecting or changing addresses, then I would be putting everything in the bin from then on...0 -
Any credit cards in that mail?? :rotfl: :rotfl:0

As above, return to sender for the stuff you have and maybe another month or two, and then bin for the rest.
Given that they are taking the Mick, were not very pleasant and is easy to redirect post.0 -
They're being lazy ... Setting up redirection isn't that expensive even for a year. Return anything official and bin the rest.0

Id not keep it at all.0

If they didn't give you any contact details then sod them, after six months they should have sorted the majority of stuff out anyway. Scrawl RTS on it and chuck it in the mailbox.
I wouldn't bin the Junk mail as you're more likely to just keep getting it if you do what everyone else does and bin it. RTS at least costs the originators a few extra pennies (I think?)8kW (4kW WNW, 4kW SSE) 6kW inverter. 6.5kWh battery.0 -
I would naughty as it sounds KEEP the parcels that are theirs if u ain't signed for them. Teach them a lesson

Also I would just put on the envelope 'No longer living at this address'. And put a cross over their 'OLD' address.
Message to post people hopefully loud and clear :money:Yes I use txt speak
GET OVER IT! :P0
