carers allowence and work

Hello, I have put in a request for carers allowence however I havent heard back yet I was only working one day a week on a temp contract but I have been offered more hours. Basically I have three children and I would be earning £214 per week before tax,childcare and pension. does anyone know what exactly they take into account for the deductions? As one child is under a year which is £37 per day x2 is: £74, then I have two that would need breakfast club and after school club and also holiday childcare...
Can anyone guide me through this?

They take into account tax, NI and half of your pension contributions. There's also something about paying someone else to look after someone for you. But, depending on your situation, you'd get tax credits for that anyway?

thanks yes I know you get tax credits but with them asking about childcare I wasnt sure if they took it into account...just trying to work out whats best to do, as at the minute my one day is just an as and when where as the two days is perminent.
