I had a loan with HSBC around 7 years ago and cant remember anything about if i was offered PPI or not. I still have my account number for this loan. i would like to know if i can claim anything back but dont want the hassle of all the PPI people ringing me all the time, does anyone know which is the best way to go about finding this out?

Contact HSBC and ask them if there was any PPI.
It doesn't matter whether you were "offered" PPI, it has to have been mis-sold to you in order for it to be refunded.0
