I haven't been on one of these holidays & they say they 'will be back in 2015' so not available now, but it kinda looked interesting & maybe of use to someone?

About FSC
FSC (Field Studies Council) is a registered charity dedicated to helping people to enjoy nature.
In a modern world, where households have multiple gadgets, and kids are more likely to ask for an iPad or the latest computer game for Christmas instead of a bike, the joys of being active outside and exploring our natural surroundings are being lost.
FSC wants to reverse this, by providing opportunities to discover and experience the natural world. We believe that this is not only good for the here and now, but also that appreciating the world around us will lead to more willingness to protect its diversity and beauty for future generations.
For 70 years FSC has delivered courses to school groups who want to learn about the outdoors, provided training to people who work in the outdoors and offered classes to those who want to explore and be inspired by nature, all through a network of centres in some of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring locations in the UK.
However, we’re excited to now be able to offer affordable all-inclusive family holidays to enable families to get active in nature together, with a mixture of organised activities and free time to explore the stunning countryside and coastlines which surround our centres.
