please help mix up with claim transfer.

if anybody could help i would be very grateful. filed my claim on mcol back in april. HSBC defended the claim and i was sent a " notice of transfer of proceedings" from northampton court to my local county court on 16th of may 2007. i have received no correspondence since then, i have today phoned the courts to try and find out what was happening and it seems the local courts had never received the transfer papers. it appears that my claim has been totally overlooked!! the local court have said they will contact me as soon as they know anything! Has this happened to anybody else, or does anyone have any advic e. Thanks.
