Should I chase it up with POPLA?

I submitted an appeal against a ParkingEye PCN to POPLA in the middle of August and their response said that it would be decided "on or very soon after" 22nd September.
How long should I leave it before I chase them up? Obviously I don't want to annoy them but I've also read about peoples' appeals being declined, for whatever reason the verdict never gets to them, they don't chase it up and the next thing they know there's a court summons on the doormat.

A week's delay is not unusual. Give it another week.
I presume you have not received the PPC's evidence pack. If so then it will likely be a PSDSU (Parking Scum Don't Show Up) win.Je suis Charlie0 -
Same for me, my appeal said 26th September and still no word yet.
I've not received anything from the PPC either.0 -
Thanks, I'll hang on another week then.
No I've not had any evidence from ParkingEye and my appeal makes requests for various pieces of supporting evidence (GPoL, information on ANPR system etc). POPLA's response to me specifically said that all evidence must be sent to them and to me before the 22nd. Hopefully you're right and the fact that they haven't sent me anything means a straightforward win for me.0 -
email popla to say you have not received any evidence pack from parkingeyeDedicated to driving up standards in parking0

Done

Out of interest, how will POPLA contact me with the result of the appeal? In their acknowledgement it just said I'd be notified of the decision in the manner I selected, but I can't even remember being asked to specify a contact method.0 -
My appeal was estimated for 17th September and it came through (by email) on the 26th, so 9 days later.0

Mine was due to be considered "on or soon after 23rd September". I have received nothing from Care Parking, so assume it'll be ruled in my favour on that basis. Shame, as I had written such a nice detailed appeal. I just mailed POPLA indicating I have received no evidence from the operator.0

POPLA actually replied really quickly, but missed the point of the email, just saying my case hadn't yet been decided, and not referring to the fact I'd not received any evidence from the operator.0

I don't think POPLA have received any ParkingEye evidence pack for months for any forum assisted appeal.
Although I expect they will be getting plenty of them for those appeals based on mitigation. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I've just had a reply from POPLA saying that they've not had any evidence for my case.
Does that mean an automatic win for me then? Or is it not quite as simple as that?0
