Can my partner who has spouse visa indefinite leave to remain but is from outside the EU get o the electrol register.
I know you cant vote unless you get citizenship but what about just getting on the elec register?
We cant work out why getting turned down for credit? With perfect credit file never default or ever late payments?
What a messed up system when you cant get credit even with perfect credit history.

The electoral register is a register of people who are eligible to vote so if your partner is not allowed to vote, they wont be able to go on the electoral register.

You have to be a UK citizen to be on the electoral roll. You are likely getting turned down for credit because your partner's not on the electoral roll, a lot of lenders will instantly turn you down because of it. If your partner is not a UK citizen, there's not really much you can do about it.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

Nope
I am French, have been living in the UK for some 20 years and have most definitely been on the electoral roll here all this time - granted, I can only vote in Local elections.
What you now do need to have to be able to register is a National Insurance number.
OP: check on your Council's website
Provided your spouse has a NI number and is from a EU or Commonwealth country, you should be fine and probably able to do it online. Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
