How do you create diagrams

Just need some help creating a diagram for a website, needs to look similiar to a family tree, could anyone help with this. I know there is an application on Office that allows you to do this but can't for the life of me find it.

there is a tab for diagram under tools/insertsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

You could also use Publisher or MS Visio if you have it.0 -
You can use Powerpoint for simple diagrams.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
