Shopping in Leeds

I have to go to Leeds shortly and thought I'd use the day for some retail therapy. I'm trying to figure out which is the main/best shopping centre - have read of White Rose and Trinity, and also Victorian quarter. Any recommendations on which is best? Do want to hit some of the chains, but also like indies which is why the VQ appealed, but not sure what's close to where, easiest to park etc.

White rose centre is out of city centre with free parking. It's mostly high street stores.
In Leeds City centre Victoria quarter and trinity are both within walking distance - accessible from the same street as Harvey Nichols. There are lots of smaller shops in the arcade and trinity has some really nice restaurants. Head for Briggate and you can't go wrong.
Parking wise there are a few pay and displays - not the cheapest but very handy. There are some £5 all day type ones on the edge of town if you don't mind walking. The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0
